This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the biggest game of CTP Teams Season Four to date.

Neither Renegades nor Lucky 13 have so much as stumbled so far this season and not only have they both won all their games but they have also amassed very similar amounts of XP which could be crucial in any tie breaker.

However today is the day that all changes because this is the day these two CTP Teams giants play each other and there can only be one winner.

The contest, which was chosen at random just like all of the games, is to nerd surf the most pages so this will test the skills, determination, team work and endurance of both teams to the limit.

So let’s look back and see how each team got to where they are right now and, before I forget, good luck to all the players on both teams:

I have been really impressed at how Season Four has gone so far.

There has never been a shortage of things to write about and it has also not been without its fair share of drama and speculation.

In a blog post here yesterday I accidentally let slip what challenge the top two teams face when they meet tomorrow.

Some people will accept it as an honest mistake while others will cry foul, use it as proof that there is some big conspiracy going on and the world is about to end.

However it is not the real story. The real story is what you guys are doing in CTP Teams and you have all done remarkably well so far.

From the beginnings until now there have been many twists and turns, dramas, controversy (a lot of controversy actually), team building, relationship building and fun.

Having fun, building relationships and building up team cohesion are by far the most important aspects of all this.

I have certainly enjoyed every moment of CTP Teams to date and I am sure there will be much more fun and excitement to come as it matures and develops even further.

Leaders have come and gone, teams have come and gone and people’s lives have changed during the time CTP Teams has been up and running.

For my part I have learned a lot and made some friendships, long lasting friendships, thanks to CTP and CTP Teams…and you can’t ask for any more than that.

Meanwhile in yesterday’s action Lucky 13 won and Renegades is in action today (against Lucky 13 Too ironically) so the stage is set for a really dramatic game tomorrow between these two teams.

I will be taking a close interest for sure but these teams are so evenly matched that I couldn’t possibly even try to predict a winner.

It is funny how a day can make a huge difference at CTP Teams.

Take yesterday for example where SurfAholics Bravo opened just three vaults to secure a win. This is what could be called a really easy win.

Just a couple of days earlier WealthBuilders opened 40 vaults and did not come even close to winning that day.

Some games will be easy while others will be hard. There may be some that you expect to be easy but end up being particularly challenging or others you expect to struggle with but manage to secure an easy win.

I certainly like this aspect of the current season as it all adds to the overall fun of the competition.

There were two XP collecting games yesterday and the winning totals were measured in the millions – 79 million for Ultimate Surf Warriors and 60 million for Living Wealthy.

Both WealthBuilders and Beginners and Winners battled really strongly in the only nerd surf game yesterday – to lose with almost 400,000 pages viewed is a very creditable performance indeed but WealthBuilders surfed their way to more than 622,000 views by the stroke of midnight.

Elsewhere it was badges, badges and more badges. By far the closest game was Journers v Affiliate Prosperity where a 571 – 618 margin meant that these two teams were very equally matched.

Easy Team saw more daylight between them and AdKreator while Renegades romped home with a massive haul of 2,626 badges collected during the day.

At the top of the table things are really interesting.

Renegades and Lucky 13 have not put a foot wrong all season. Now here’s the thing…on Saturday these two teams go head to head for the first time this season in a nerd surf contest.

As battles go I don’t think we will see anything as intense. These are two great teams and it is one of those games where I would love to see them both win but, of course, there can only be one winner.

Yesterday Enjoy Spirits secured victory in the vault opening challenge which gave them a much needed win and they seem to be very skilled at opening vaults.

Ultimate Surf Warriors collected 59 million XP t0 win their game and Phoenix showed no mercy in their XP contest against Team Green. Phoenix winning margin was around 1.5 billion which may prove useful as the season continues.

Uber Surfers and Lucky 13 found the most badges in their games to secure victory and there was also a victory for Lucky 13 Too in the nerd surf game.

There were no surprises in the other two nerd surf games yesterday which were won by CSN and SurfAholics Alpha.

Looking at the games in play today, a lot are quite close and both Bravos and Team Green are yet to start their vault opening challenge. As always though is is not where the teams are now that matters but where they are at midnight.

Lucky 13 has notched up 13 wins and no losses which is exactly the same as Renegades which means these are still the top two teams to catch for this second half of the current season.

Yesterday every team which was scheduled to play were in action throughout the day. Renegades triumphed in the only badge hunt game of the day while WealthBuilders and Uber Surfers were golden egg collection winners in their respective games.

Phoenix were sub game champs while the six remaining teams playing yesterday were all on the hunt for XP.

The Bravos got millions of XP during the 24 hours but they were up against an on-fire CSN which was able to collect an amazing 54 billion worth of XP, by far the largest amount of the day.

Living Wealthy were also XP winners and Easy Team romped to victory in the final XP collecting game of the day.

We are just over half way there for Season Four so ensure that you make every game of these final three weeks really count.

Remember that it is the top 16 teams which will make the playoffs and the excitement of the playoffs is something you will not want to miss.

In yesterday’s sub game tournaments there were victories for Living Wealthy and Lucky 13 Too. Ironically in the final sub game contest it would have been a really easy win for either Dark Clickers or Surf Lovers  but as neither team played yesterday they both lost.

The golden egg games were very challenging as ever with Lucky 13 being the overall egg challenge champs for the day. CSN also made egg collecting look easy and while Easy Team also did really well, they were up against SurfAholics Alpha who powered through yesterday’s challenge.

Finally there was only one XP collecting hunt being played yesterday and that was won by Affiliate Prosperity.

As another week draws to  close this season, it could be hardly any closer at the top of the table.

Renegades still lead with 12 wins, no losses and a total of 124.7 billion xp while second placed Lucky 13 has 12 wins, no losses and 122.9 billion experience points.

Third placed SurfAholics Alpha has 11 wins, one loss and 106.7 billion experience points. This means that this one loss is virtually all that separates the top three teams. Fourth placed Uber Surfers and fifth place Easy Team also have just one loss each but there is a bigger XP gap between these two teams and the top three.

Alphas easily won their game yesterday and gained some much needed XP in the process and in the nerd surf game Uber Surfers notched up a 1,519,800 to 0 victory.

The sub game contest was a little closer with In To Win picking up a win by 65 – 27 and while WealthBuilders opened 40 vaults it was no match for the 189 opened by Lucky 13.

Finally there were three golden egg hunt games yesterday and by far the closest was the SurfAholics Bravo v Surf Lovers contest which Bravos won by 47 – 42. In the other two egg hunt games there were victories for Renegades and Journeyers.

Easy Team worked really hard yesterday in the badge hunt game but their efforts were just not enough to secure them a win.

Uber Surfers collected 3,594 badges to the 3,267 collected by Easy Team which means the latter’s unbeaten run has come to an end.

I am sure Essy Team will be bitterly disappointed with this loss but I am equally sure that this won’t stop them from competing just as hard for the rest of the season as they have done in these first 11 games. They are now fourth in the overall standings.

Lucky 13 came up against Lucky 13 Too in the other badge collecting game yesterday. Lucky 13, the clear favorites to win did just that and did not pull any punches when up against their team colleagues as was reflected by the 3,366 to 260 scoreline.

In the XP arena there were also two games ongoing and In To Win and Ultimate Surf Warriors both walked off with the spoils here.

CSN were sub game heroes, Badge Seekers came out top in the nerd surf contest and Bravos were the only team not to play yesterday which gave Phoenix a free shot at the vault opening challenge which they won 85 – 0.

Today is Friday and the new games are underway. Lucky 13 are now the team sitting pretty at the top of the table so well done to them and good luck with all teams taking part.

The top three teams have each won ten games and are only separated by the amounts of XP they have collected to date.

Apart from one golden egg collecting contest (which was won by AdKreator after a very close fight indeed) yesterday’s action was all about collecting XP and opening vaults.

Renegades led the XP collectors with almost 16 billion collected and there were also wins for Beginners and Winners and Lucky 13.

In the vault opening arena Team Green relaxed, told jokes and took things so easy that once the 24 hours were up they had not cracked a single vault. This allowed Indulge Yourself to claim a victory with eight unlocked vaults.

Affiliate Prosperity had to work a lot harder to secure their win yesterday as Success Seekers were able to match them vault for vault virtually all day long. In the end they cracked six more to secure a 57 – 51 vault opening victory.

Finally WealthBuilders opened the second highest number of vaults (83) of all the teams on vault opening detail yesterday. Sadly they were up against SurfAholics Alpha, who happened to be the top team with 230 opens so the Alphas denied WealthBuilders a point here.

With just over three hours into today’s action In To Win has got off to a flying start on the XP collecting challenge and both Easy Team and Uber Surfers are battling hard to collect the most badges. Dark Clickers have also got off to an amazing start in their nerd surf game.

After two full weeks of play in this season there are now only two teams left who have won all their games as is shown by the impressive totals on the season leaderboard.

Easy Team are back at the top of the table (9-0) with Lucky 13 in second place. However as Lucky 13 is the only other unbeaten team and it is playing today while Easy Team takes a day off, the positions should be reversed by tomorrow.

There is nothing to separate the next four teams in terms of wins and loses (7-1) so their positions are determined by the amount of XP they have collected this season.

Without doubt this game play formula is proving more challenging for all the teams taking part and that is one of the reasons why this season is so super exciting.

What an exciting day it was yesterday. Every team that was scheduled to play did play which is always great to see and some of the games were very close indeed.

Yesterday’s action rounded off Week Two of play which means we are now into the second third of the season. It is a little early to be talking about the playoffs yet but it is not too long before this is at the front of every team’s mind.

The closest game of the day was the vault opening challenge between Ultimate Surf Warriors and Phoenix. USW were not allowing Phoenix to snatch victory at the last minute here and each team had to really fight hard for this contest.

In the end Phoenix opened 279 vaults and that would normally have been enough to guarantee a win…in fact on any other day that would have been a winning total. However USW had other ideas and opened a dozen more vaults to secure victory with an amazing total of 291.

Enjoy Spirits and Easy Team had no problems finding masses of Golden Eggs yesterday – I bet their opponents were wishing they had the same egg hunting techniques as these two teams were able to demonstrate.

The badge hunt was relatively close yesterday but Journeyers found the most while over in the nearby nerd surf arena, success was found by Success Seekers.

AdKreator did well to gain 359m XP but Beginners and Winners won by collecting it almost twice as quickly with 601m points claimed in 24 hours.

Affiliate Prosperity only had to complete six more sub games than their opposition yesterday. There were easy games and hard games yesterday and this makes sense. Sometimes we can have an easy win in life and other times they are much harder won.

Now it is a new week for everyone…let’s see what excitement the next seven days brings.
