Are You Good To Go For Season Four?

CTP Teams new look for S4

If you look at the CTP Teams home page right now you will get a little preview of what things will look like for the new season.

The first thing you may notice is that the divisions and leagues are gone. From Season Four it is all about wins and losses and your position in the table will be based on your wins and losses in the games that are played throughout the season.

You will probably also notice that some new data is also being displayed such as wins, losses, percentage, games behind, last 10 games win losses, wining and losing streaks and points earned.

Looks impressive or what?

This time round it is the wins/loses which really matter. Obviously earning more points than your opponent will determine the outcome of individual games but a win by a margin or one point is a win in just the same way as is a win by a margin of one billion points.

When the season starts the exact criteria for winning a game will be made clear. Again more on this later but it means that every member of the team will be needed to play their part because some games may play to the strengths of some members and not others.

So for a win you have to be just a little bit better than your opponents on the day you play them. People had asked for the contest to be fairer so that they could have a better chance of winning and this does exactly that.

Also you will notice that the teams home page currently shows the teams that are eligible to play in Season Four right now and those teams who don’t have the minimum requirement of 10 players.

If your team has nine players or fewer and you want to take part then you need to recruit new members now.

Finally your players will be locked in for the entire season so there can be no switching teams half way through the season.

It will be fun.
