SurfAholics Alphas and Renegades remain the only two teams with maximum points as we start a new week at CTP Teams.
However right across the board all the teams are working hard to either retain their standings or knock higher teams down a peg or two.
The individual league tables are certainly one aspect of CTP Teams but it is worth reminding players that it is far from the only important aspect of being an active team player.
Perhaps some will feel that is more important actually being part of a team – a community within a community if you like – where your efforts contribute to the success of the whole.
This is certainly good training for business, as working with effectively with others, playing to the strengths of each team player, and defining roles and responsibilities are useful skills to have both in business and in CTP Teams.
Recently someone asked on this blog what the incentive was for individual team players to take part in the competition and what individuals would receive at the end of the season.
Some of the reasons individuals might give for being part of a team might include:
- feeling part of a community
- having a vital team role to play
- carrying out the team role to the best of their ability
- working with others
- overcoming challenges and stumbling blocks
- having fun
As far as the reward at the end of the season for winning teams goes, then that is up to the individual team leaders to decide how any winnings are distributed.
It has always been that way at CTP Teams. The individual teams are far better placed than any one else to decide on this matter and we don’t have any plans to change that.
As ever have a productive and fun week ahead on CTP Teams.
