Look What Lucky 13 Is Getting Up Too

Lucky 13 Too is latest addition to CTP Teams

I can almost hear the shouts of “It’s not fair” already.

Lucky 13 is no longer content with having one team in the contest, so now they have two or “too” as they like to say because Lucky 13 Too is the latest to join the party.

And in case you think they have no understanding of English grammar the too (rather than two) signifies that this new team is part of Lucky 13 too. Clever.

The team is led by John Brewer, well as of now the entire team is John Brewer, but I don’t think he will be on his own for too much longer.

In just a few hours he has climbed from last place in the overall leaderboard to 29th – a jump of 33 places which is not bad for a few hours work from just one team member.

John, I am told, is “very enthusiastic and excited” about heading up the new Lucky 13 team whose team page describe it as “an extension of our loving family.”

Certainly Lucky 13 is one of the teams where their members have built up a very strong bond and the aim will be for this to happen here too.

And it is still only day three of Week Two in Season Two at CTP Teams.

From the beginning Lucky 13 said that we were in this for the long haul – and we meant it.

Yes, “Lucky 13 Too!” You see, this is more than just another way to try to get an advantage or something in CTP teams. As a matter of fact it’s far from it.

We have a wonderful networking family at Lucky 13 and wanted soooo bad to be able to take it up a notch without “breaking up the family.” Thus Lucky 13 Too was born!

We care about our team and we care about obtaining real success in this crazy industry. CTP teams brought us together – then we took it from there.

I have the humble honor of leading this new branch of the family and will do the best job I can.

Remember folks. Lucky 13 is not just “in it to win it.” We are in it to SUCCEED! What better way is there to succeed than by building a strong network.

Besides….. it was either here or jail! 🙂

    Yay, awesome sauce post!

All of the above said, I can say too that we MAY be recruiting for one or both teams at the moment.

No guarantees, but if there’s someone out there that’s been interested in being on Lucky 13 and wanted to join but couldn’t, since we have rarely had any room on the team… I’m open to listening. They can always PM me at CTP @ lynnm !

Well I don’t think it would be giving any secrets away to say you “are” recruiting for team too, unless you want it to stay as a team of just one player 😉

  3. Tom Wacker says:

Wowie. This is just exciting stuff for the Lucky 13. Expanded branding and network opportunity abounds.

    I am excited.

  4. Jon says:

Just for the record, it’s day 10 of season 2, not day 3 😉

    • Patrick Griffin says:

Good call Jon. I had meant to say day three of week two of the season but I have corrected that now. Thanks for letting me know.

  5. Interesting to see how a one man team can climb the charts that fast.

    Good luck John

    • Lynn M says:

Perhaps because all the teams under him were mostly inactive???

      Jeez, Walter.

      • Yep I see a lot of teams with inactive members. Before the second competition started I suggested they at least remove the teams with the zero’s so it would look less like a ghost town.

        • Patrick Griffin says:

I am not sure that CTP Teams could really be described as a “ghost town” – this blog would be pretty boring if that was the case.

    • Patrick Griffin says:

Hard work and determination will always get you far as John is clearly demonstrating.
I was watching quite closely yesterday and clearly many hours of had work were put in to make the progress which was made.

  6. I am thrilled to be the newest member of Lucky 13 (how many of the members were actually BORN on Friday the 13th like yours truly) and it has been my lifelong goal to make that team (OK, my goal since early last year!) but it’s nice to know I have somewhere else to go if I can’t quite make the grade. 🙂
Good Luck John with Lucky 13 TOO.

    It’s not fair! 🙂

Two teams, one family, double of fun!

    Good luck John.

    Go Lucky 13!!!

  8. Sig says:

    Have fun folks 🙂

  9. If I’m not mistaken, this is not unprecedented…

The Surfaholics had a “Beta/B” team for a while.

    We’ll see how Lucky 13 Too does…good luck! 🙂

    Wow…wtg 🙂
