Season Two at CTP Teams is just a few hours away…it will begin at 00.00.01am Eastern on Monday morning which, at time of writing, is just over seven hours away.
The current week was supposed to be a week where people regrouped and took time off but that just didn’t happen as the previous post highlighted.
And it is not just token surfing here and there from one or two hard core players that we are witnessing either.
For example SurfAholics Alpha are on track to break their 26 billion weekly points record (if you ignore the craziness of the Black Friday bonus week where points were just insane for a time.)
The Alphas get 26 billion points on their week off…that is the power of CTP Teams for you.
Jon is also excited…excited enough to have just Tweeted this out…

So are you all set for the new CTP Teams season?
Season Two will run for ten weeks until Sunday March 15 at 23.59.59 Eastern.
How to win: Each week teams will earn team points which will both determine their position on the overall leaderboard and whether they qualify for the Premier League or the Competitive League – this will work exactly as it works right now. Where a team finishes at the end of a week in relation to all other teams in CTP Teams will determine their standing at the end of the season. The last placed team will get one point, the second last placed team gets two points, the third from last gets three points and so on.
It is these weekly points which will determine the positions at the end of ten weeks and thus determine the winners. There will be no separate monthly competition for these shorter seasons and the prizes for Season Two are still to be determined but as soon as they are then they will be revealed here.
So make sure you are on the team you want to be on. You can leave a team by clicking on the “leave team” button in CTP on the teams page but make sure the new team you want to join is willing to take you before jumping ship.
Also you can leave a team and create a new team of your own if you are a Kore4 upgraded member. The ability to create a CTP Team is one of the many exclusive perks of Kore4 membership so that is also something to consider.
One word of warning though, if you later leave a team which you created, then that team is automatically disbanded.
Good luck everybody with Season Two of CTP Teams…this blog will keep up updated with the many twists and turns over the next ten weeks of competition.
Be prepared, play as a team and, as ever, have fun.
