#ovendogs To Launch First CTP Teams Inspired Traffic Exchange

So the ovendogs have finally revealed what it is they have cooking. Project Insanity involves launching a new traffic exchange. Well, at least we now know where they got the name from.

Opening a new traffic exchange in what is a highly competitive market is usually a bad idea. In fact it is usually a really, really bad idea.

Here are a few reasons why:

  • would-be TE owners often think it is a path to ‘really easy money’ – it isn’t, just ask any TE owner.
  • would-be TE owners often think it is far easier than it really is and tend to dramatically underestimate the amount of time and effort required
  • many would-be TE owners think they can just blend into the background and let their membership do all the promoting and build up the business
  • many would-be TE owners sadly don’t really understand that they are starting a business and fail to put the necessary resources into building their business

So does this mean that the new #ovendogs TE is doomed to fail…it most certainly does not….far from it in fact. Just being part of the CTP Teams and TimTech community is a massive advantage. Learning from TimTech, leveraging their experience and working with some of the best TE users in the business already puts the new #ovendogs TE ahead of the pack.

I wish them all every success with their new project.

Well Some gotta do it πŸ™‚ Woof πŸ˜€

    Good luck indeed

Hey good luck guys, you can do it… My philosophy is this…

    1) If someone has done it, it can be done!
    2) You can only fail if you quit!

  4. I would certainly agree with Patrick’s assessment, there is a lot of behind the scenes work a lot of promotion and you shouldn’t start, like I did, with a small purse.
Truth be known from my early experience I would say having a GOOD knowledge of code is a must if not, you better have someone who will work with you. And be sure at all cost to keep an eye on your support tickets; not responding will kill your business before it starts.

All that said I certainly wish the Oven Dogs well, and if you need to ask a question about starting up just Skype or email me.

  5. It can be a smart move. Good luck to them!
    Looking forward to their launch.

  6. Given everything that Patrick has said…

What better time to launch a TE and…ummm….set up a Daily Challenge? πŸ˜‰

    Timing is everything (Woof Woof!)

  7. Charlotte Ericson says:

    Good luck with your TE.

  8. Thanks for the comments guys.

I do have a name and a domain ready for the TE, I even have a dedicated server ready to go. Yes ovendogs will be featuring πŸ™‚

  9. Frank says:

    Good Luck!

  10. Stephen Whittle says:

    Thank you Marian…my thought exactly

  11. Virginia Herron says:

I would add to what Gary said that it is essential a new traffic exchange bring something new and different to the market. If it is the same thing as every other script, it will only get moderate success at best. Good luck :)!

  12. Karen Kuty says:

LOL @ Marian. Good luck with your TE #ovendogs.

  13. Wendy says:

Looking forward to see some new features in your new TE #ovendogs

  14. I will agree with the post, being a part of CTP is an advantage. If I would have tried TE, without signing up here at CTP I would have given up a week or so later. As a matter of fact I have signed up for TE sites surfed one day and never returned. I didn’t understand what it was about. Until the day I signed up at CTP. I know it sounds like I am brown nosing, no I am stating a fact. I have learned so much from their videos that literally an idiot could do well by joining CTP. The free training videos are hands down the best. I am go grateful that I took the time to sign up and start my training. Thank you click track profit.

  15. The best of luck with your new TE!
