Two SurfAholics Alpha Secrets Which Really Are Not Secrets At All

Another week as CTP Teams leaders, and SurfAholics Alpha have decided the time is right to share their secrets.

Leader Matt Badura, writing in the team blog, says the goal for any team is to become successful by becoming “…efficient, effective andย  always evolving.”

He says this is best achieved by the actions of each individual team member who should strive to:

“…be more effective for their team, and follow that up with helping others be more efficient.”

But as Matt points out, these are really not secrets at all and they apply to a much wider community than CTP Teams. This is a great point because as Jon and I always emphasize in TELive, CTP Teams is about much, much more than just CTP Teams.

  3. I agree with Matt’s “secrets” But he secret isn’t the secret.

The real secret is getting everyone to buy in to the philosophy.
You and your team, or executive board, or band of bandits, can list what the procedures or steps to success are, If all are not on the same page with the steps then there will be a dragging effect felt by all.

Please, no matter whose team you are on, listen to your leaders, in most cases they have “been there done that”, and know the way to San Jose, so take the most important step,
    LISTEN, it works!

  4. Tom Wacker says:

His real secret is that he just has a mighty fine team.

Which will make it all the sweeter when the Lucky 13 sets them down…

    Congratulations SAA

As everyone has been saying, it’s true that it’s the members on the team as a whole working together which is key to success. Much like the story of the people in heaven feeding each other with the long chopsticks, as opposed to those below attempting and failing to feed themselves because the chopsticks are too long.
