As the week in CTP team moved on, the teams settle into a rhythm and the leader board reflects that rhythm. The only time that does not happen is right at the start of a new week where the data simply reflects what is happening over a very limited time frame indeed.
Normally I am sleeping when midnight Eastern rolls around but as I am in the US right now I was still up and about and took this screenshot as the first hour of a new week was coming to a close.
The interesting thing is that not a single team was in the same position as they were at the end of the previous week. Also of note is that Dream Team, currently top of the Competitive League, were the number one team in the whole of CTP Teams at the end of the first hour this week.
Alphas were seventh and Lucky 13 were in ninth spot – which is something you don’t see very often – however for teams which work as hard as these two do there must be at least some time when they are not relentlessly piling on the pressure.
Another thing this early shapshot shows is that it does not take too long for teams to smash through the one million points barrier – 55 minutes into a week and four teams had already done so, one more was just about to do so and the remaining five teams were all already half way there or more.
Fast forward another 14 hours to 3pm Eastern and the top three teams all have more than 100 million team points while tenth place Life Timer has almost five million – not bad at all for a team of just ten members.
In the Competitive League the top 12 teams have all one million points or more (the range is 40.3 m to 1.3 m, for those who like knowing these stats).
This makes 22 teams in all with more than one million team points on the first day of this week so far. Once again…good luck everyone and don’t forget to have fun.
