With CTP Teams Numbers Count

Numbers matter…in fact, as the headline says, they really count.

Sometimes, like now, they can be used as an excuse to drop a really bad pun into a blog post; I suppose I should really apologize for that.

So let’s talk numbers:

  • There are currently 44 teams – 10 in the Premier League and 34 in the Competitive League
  • The Premier League has 242 players. Eight of the 10 Premier League teams have the maximum 25 members.
  • The current weekly points total amongst Premier League teams ranges from 32,005,633 to 3,248,869.
  • The current total points number for all Premier League teams is 125,853,864.
  • The current weekly points total amongst the Competitive League teams ranges from 15,856,203 to 80.
  • Life is too short to calculate the current total points for all Competitive League teams.

So that’s it for numbers for now.

  2. Has Tim been feeding you numbers?

Raw numbers are the start. Like any bit of information, the power lies in what we do with it.

Tim didn’t feed me the numbers though…I found them all by myself 😉

    • Math is the basis for all creation!! I am a retired math teacher. Math can be fun. Math helps you build, cook, sew, and many other things. Hating Math does not make sense since math is not a person but an important part of our knowledge and search for truth.

  20. Victoria Stein says:

We all have our strengths and weaknesses,..that is what makes being part of a ‘team’ really important,…each will take the initiative where they are more confidant……and all will learn and grow from the experience.

The most important #’s for me would be each ‘1’ of us, who did more than before,…next, ‘2’ who actively communicate through pm, email or skype,…and finally, the total # of participants!
( thus far,…as surely this # will only increase as the momentum builds!)
