Loyalty and Branding From CTP Teams

Answer me these five questions if you please…

  1. Are you on a team? (it does not have to be a CTP Team by the way)
  2. Does the team you are on make you feel part of a community?
  3. Is your relationship with your team members important to you?
  4. Do you feel loyal to your team?
  5. You expect loyalty from your team members?

You don’t have to write your answers down or leave them as a comment to this post – although you are very welcome to do so if you so desire. The idea is just to get you to think about the issues.

Now let’s look at CTP Teams…I think it is clear that CTP is very much a community and a community of people who, to one extent or other, share the same goals and passions.

I regularly hear people say how they feel loyal to their teams and how they want to work hard to do the best for their teams.

These are all skills we need in our online business because it is so much better, so much more fun and so much easier to work alongside others rather than trying to do everything by yourself.

Recently on the Lucky 13 blog, John Brewer asked Is Branding The New Currency? and it is a good question.

He referred to a recent CNN report where an advertising expert was talking about the importance of being trustworthy and of building and protecting your reputation. He compared one’s reputation to a currency and went on to say that loyalty is now
a micro-economy.

Does any of that sound familiar? It should. I think this has been a recurring theme on TELive for just about as long as TELive has been in existence.

In more recent times we have developed a community within a community, that of CTP Teams. Yes it is fun and interesting and we get to hang out with some really cool people but it is also about making contacts, building reputations and gaining loyalty.

Not a bad thing to ponder as we start a new week. Not a bad thing to ponder at all.

    Loyalty is of the utmost concern in everything, business and personal life. Something which should always be highly valued and protected….

    When you go shopping for groceries you most likely buy products of brands you are familiar with. It’s the same in TE land. You buy stuff from people you know and trust.

    I think a lot depends on what team you are on.
    My first team had no communication with each other and didn’t surf very much. I was discouraged and quit thinking the whole team thing was stinkin, and not from badges.
    My new team is great. I have made new friends and am totally happy with their surfing, they really work hard.
    So now that’s said I love the team gig and wouldn’t think about doing it anymore without a team.

    Lucky 13 is a very special team to be on because we are about fun and success as well. Not success at being the top team (although that is our goal of course), but success in Internet Marketing period.

    Yes, fun is important but things still boil down to successful business practices – things we have been learning at TELive for a long long time.

    I dunno that I can add anything much to what’s been said in other comments other than fun is definitely a big thing for the Lucky 13… the fun and camaraderie we have as a team on an ongoing, daily basis really helps us all keep it together and cohesive. We are pretty convinced that probably no other team has anywhere near as much fun as we do on a regular basis (and some of our latecoming team members that were on other teams before pretty much agree… we’ve been told that as a group we’re one of the most fun and laid back Premier League teams, and we like that)!

    I like what Charlotte said, have to add to that. I usually buy brands that I like and fits my needs and/or works well with my lifestyle. There are times when a product changes for whatever reason, just like the intricacies of a team may change for whatever reason, and it doesn’t fit for me or works like it used to. That’s when I have to make an uneasy decision to change, and who likes change, but it’s part of life. And of course, if it’s not fun, then why do it?!?!

    To be honest, the last time I made a comment about loyalty to a team, I feel that I had ruffled a few feather. That was not my intention then and certainly will not be my intention now, with that said. I feel that if it were not for team Lucky13, I wouldn’t have the desire to wake up everyday and complete the challenges as I do, now that is not to say that the reason I do this is to gain xp, however it does make it so much easier to accomplish. With completing the challenges come lots of credits that I can use to promote my favorite affiliate links. So to me that is win win win all around. I am so grateful to be a part of Lucky13. And I hope that all CTP members find their way to a team that they too feel a loyalty to.

    I have to look at this as a big picture. I am part of a few teams. CTP is my big team and I play a small part in it. We have a lot of friends there that are on different teams with different names. My number one team is my partner in marketing, and my lovely wife Elaine. We are not happy to be on the Nerdbird team and looking forward to helping that team to move up the ladder of success. We are +3 from last week. đŸ™‚

    I enjoy being on my team–as long as it’s fun, and that is up to me, so it’s fun!

  16. Ken I am sure glad you added that follow up comment…. I have been glad to have been on the Wake up Now team … Great team mates and lots of loyalty. I am also pleased to be on the Nerdbird team now. It is always fun to get to know other people better. Hope to get to know them much better as time goes on.
