New Timeslot for Sweeva Surf Party – Thursdays 4pm Eastern

The only bad thing about the Sweeva Surf Party is that sometimes it did not take place.

So now after consultations with the TE Community and with the approval of the Golden Chicken of XP there is an announcement to be made:

“Hear ye! Hear ye:

“Let it be known throughout the Kingdom of Click Track Profetica, that this day a special decree was made in the district of Tim of Techshire.

“From this coming Thursday the event known as the Sweeva Surf Party will take place at 4pm Eastern and henceforth at the same hour each week.

“It will take place in the TELive room on the fourth floor of the building known as Spree of Cast and will replace the event known as TELive for that day each week.”

So if you want to earn XP for your teams, get your team splash pages shown to your rivals and engage in the gentle art of web-based smack-talk via your creative endeavors then the SSP is for you.

There is XP for team pages and for individual pages and Jon and I will do our best to keep count of all the pages shown.

So see you all on Thursday at the new time of 4pm Eastern.

I think this will actually maximize the number of people that can and will attend. More people makes for more fun!

  3. Marye says:

one day i am gonna call in sick and make the sweeva party…until then love the updates/posts

  4. Lynn M says:

I think the time switch will result in more activity. I know the European members of our team are excited about it!

  5. Charlotte says:

Much better time for Europeans 🙂

  6. Scott Rohn says:

Not really a big fan of this. Kind of hard to leave work at 4pm est and be ready to go at the Sweeva Surf Party. But I guess it is what it is. I’ll be there probably to late to get any bids in Yea don’t like it

    • Patrick Griffin says:

It is possible to schedule bids in advance Scott.
I know the time slot does not suit everyone but it does seem to suit most people.
In addition this way we can always do the SSP, rather than the hit and miss affair with the old time slot.

      • I have to agree with Scott on this one. Timeslot won’t cut it for me. And as far as ‘pre-placing’ bids….wait…not giving away any secrets to the amateurs. But if you want to be involved and get your ads seen during the SSP…YOU HAVE TO ATTEND.

  7. Sunny Suggs says:

Yay! Dax will be there! She’s been eating golden eggs without my knowledge, so I banned her from the camera.

  8. steven schofield says:

It is nighttime here, not a fan of sweeva sorry.

When i got started online, the company I worked for was on Australian time…

For the first 4 years I was online, I lived and worked on Australian time.

  9. I used to attend and post ads for the Sweeva Surf Party
along with my Husband Ron on a regular basis.

Even then at times we had to spend way too many
credits just to get our ads seen.

Now it has become impossible to be able to
get our Sites seen, unless we are
willing to spend 1000’s and many 1000’s of
    our credits.

    I just can’t justify that!

There should be a cap on how many credits to
spend. Therefore more people would attend.
I am sure of that. And we all could have
    some fun again.

    • Jon Olson says:

Funny – there are some people like Legacy, Lucky 13 and others that justify it and seem to be crushing it.

Some will, some won’t…Thankful that not many people wanna do the things a select few chose to do.

It’s very justified if you leverage it properly.
