We were only a few minutes into the Sweeva Surf Party and everything was settling down nicely.
Everything was going well until a splash page came on for AdKreator and the nerd birds were squawking or chirping or cheeping or at least making whatever sound nerd birds make.
It might be the case that I have made a little fun of them in the past in TELive, so could it be any coincidence that this page caused my browser to crash and thus kicked me right out of the Sweeva Surf Party?
Coincidence or not, me being kicked out of the SSP is becoming far too common but at least I was able to get back in quickly.
It was another epic event as ever.
In the team challenge it was clear from the start that this battle would be between Lucky 13 and Cash Surfing Network. Both teams dominated the contest and although there were seven (only seven!) teams represented, hardly any of the others were allowed to get a look in.
Whenever Lucky 13 had a page shown then CSN would be next and it was neck and neck for the full hour as neither team could steal a lead on the other.
Interestingly Lucky 13 favored the short 15s timers while CSN preferred the traditional 30s timers to get their pages seen.
Brenda saved the day again by reminding me how to count big numbers – those over 20 – and Jon kept tabs on the individual contest for page views.
It was another great SSP and this is what happened:
- Cash Surfing Network – 34 page views – 50k xp
- Lucky 13 – 30 page views – 25k xp
- SurfAholics Alpha – five page views – 10k xp
- =3 CTP Renegades – five page views – 10K XP
- Boris – 50k xp
- Norbert – 25k xp
- =2 Eric Goettman – 25k xp
- =3 Tom Wacker – 10k xp
- =3 Russell Stockley – 10k xp
