Just a quick reminder that we added Landing Page Monkey to CTP earlier this week, so this is a good opportunity to check it out if you have not done so already.

It means that you have some new training steps to complete…but don’t worry as they are very simple and to the point.

You can find the new steps under ‘Training Steps’ and ‘Build Your First List’ – note that even if you had previously finished those parts of the training there are now two new items for you to do.

In the new Step 7 on the initial training segment, Jon explains that Landing Page Monkey is a squeeze page generator which will really help you build your lists.

There is a one-off $37 fee for Landing Page Monkey but once you start making lead capture pages to build your lists then this could be one of the smartest investments you ever made online.

In the new video on the ‘Build Your First List’ section, Janelle explains how to link up Landing Page Monkey to your RocketResponder account so you can get up and running with getting new sign ups to your lists without delay.

There is nothing difficult or complicated here and in fact Janelle’s walk through literally takes just a couple of minutes.

Building your list is so critical to your future online that this is probably the best two minutes you will spend working online today.

How is life online working out for you?

The answer could be anywhere on a scale from “absolutely fantastic beyond belief” to “so bad I am about to give up.”

Think about where you are on that scale and then think about where you would like to be.

Hopefully you are not close to the ‘giving up’ end of the scale, but even if you are then don’t panic and don’t despair.

Maybe you are doing something wrong, or many things wrong or you lack focus or you are confused about what you are doing.

The key to getting where you want is to do little things better and make small improvements all the time.

Regular small improvements adds up to making constant improvements and this is what you should aim for.

The logical conclusion to all this is that getting where you want to be takes time so allow yourself the time you need and keep making progress as you do so by going for those small victories that Justin and Jon spoke about on Monday’s podcast.

Also remember that you are part of a great community here at CTP so make the most of it. Huge bonds have built up among many of the players on CTP Teams and these have led to life-long friendships and business relationships being forged.

Also remember to keep up all the latest industry developments at TELive at 4pm Eastern and if there is anything you want to know then that is the time to ask.

Jon Olson and Tony Tezak on TELive

Tuesday’s TELive where Jon interviewed Tony Tezak from Tezak Traffic Power and Lucky 13 was a joy to listen to.

In fact it was so good I would have to say it must be one of the very best TELive shows ever.

I listened to it twice…once when it was live on Tuesday and again before writing this blog post.

It was good because Tony, one of the most knowledgeable people in the TE industry, gave some of the best information that I have ever heard.

Some of what he said must have been uncomfortable for some to listen to, perhaps very uncomfortable indeed at times…but it was information which needed to be said.

If you didn’t watch the show, and you have more than a passing interest in the traffic exchange industry, then I would strongly suggest that you set a side a full hour without interruptions and watch it as soon as you can.

Have a pen and paper to hand to take notes too because there is a lot you can learn from Tuesday’s talk.

Jon later described it as the most important TELive that he had ever done so, that alone, should tell  you that it is some awesome content from one of the most known, experienced, successful and well liked people in the industry.

The Most Important T.E. Live I’ve Ever Done…

To say that we have been impressed at the reaction to the new CTP Members Training section would be the understatement of the year so far.

Jon mentioned it a couple of times in TELive this week and now we have 16 videos already up and running in the training area of CTP.

The reaction from other members has been extremely positive and it is great to actually hear, first hand, how people are using CTP and how it is helping you in your online businesses.

So what of the next eight…well they are summarized here using the same style as in the post for the first eight:

  1. Virginia Herron from The Strays – “Good splash pages get attention like a billboard on a highway.”Verginia Herron CTP Members Training
  2. Tom Wacker from Lucky 13 – “TELive gives you tips and hints every day about how to run your business….work hard every day, even when you don’t want to do it.”
  3. Lynn M from Lucky 13 – “You don’t have to pay some marketer thousands of dollars to learn the exact same things you are going to learn in CTP.”
  4. Lynn again from Lucky 13 – “Pick one thing that is just yours and do something nobody else is doing to give value to other people.”Lynn M on CTP Members Training
  5. Richard Arblaster from #ovendogs – “CTP and particularly CTP Teams really raises your social profile online.”
  6. Jean Kopinski (and some assorted chickens) from Lucky 13 – “You have to stay the course, you have to spend money and you have to work on your online business every single day.”Jean Kopinski (and some assorted chickens) on CTP Members Training
  7. Carl Davies from Plus one everyday – “Give something of value to others. Get AdKreator and get creative.”
  8. Rosita Maasch from Empower World Team – “Take your time – you don’t have to learn everything in one day.”Rosita Maasch on CTP Members Training

Awesome job everyone…and we still want more. If you have got a video of your own or if you are inspired to shoot one right now then just send the YouTube link to Jon when you are done.

Today’s quiz question is as follows: What do these seven CTP members have in common? And for bonus points can you tell me the relevance of the order in which they are listed?

These are the members in question:

  1. Scott Rohn from Cash Surfing Network – Team 1 – “When you make a video just be yourself.”Scott Rohn screengrab
  2. Stephen Whittle from Lucky 13 – “When you get on a team, support your team from day one.”
  3. Geri Gerstner from Wake Up Now – “Brand yourself and don’t be afraid to get on camera.”
  4. Valentin Mavrodin from SurfAholics Alpha – “I want to tell you a little, little story.”Valentin Mavrodin - little little story video screenshot
