Robert Arnold Mega Flag Grab splash page

CTP Teams Ragin’ Redneck Division sponsor by Robert Arnold has just added a whole new level of excitement to Season Three.

To coincide with the new season, Robert has announced that $1,000 in cash is up for grabs at his Mega Flag Grab contest at TE Racing League.

His contest runs for the entire length of Season Three, that is a full six months, and to win you have to collect as many flag tickets as you can, so this is a marathon not a sprint.

Robert said in an email to his TERacing League subscribers: “Because this is taking place during CTP Season 3, the XP on Find the Flags has been boosted. There will be more XP in the weekly XP Pool. Each time a ticket is claimed, more XP will be added to the pool. All you have to do, is go find the flags. That’s it. Claim as many as you can over 6 months, and you could see some CASH CASH CASH!!!!”

This is a great example of  a leading member of the TE community taking action for the benefit of all.

Season Three is a full six months. I wonder how many other new leaders might emerge during that time.

Could one of them be you?

There is a lot of amazing things happening with CTP Teams right now…and a lot of that awesomeness is not down to TimTech…but due to the members.

Yesterday we highlighted what Renegades leader David McKay was doing in his latest contest where more than 2,000,000 XP will be given away.

Robert Arnold has also recently announced the inaugural winners of his new weekly contest where he uses people’s CTP sKore to determine the prize they get. (If you need a reminder of what it is all about then check out this CTP Teams blog post on what Robert is doing.)

The winners were:

1. Victoria Stein 50,000XP

2. Senja Loise 40,000XP

3. Elina Balashova 30,000XP

4. Anton Parvov 20,000XP

5. Janice Campbell 10,000XP

Robert said: “If you factor in the BONUS each receives, Victoria ended up earning almost 10 million points for her team.”

He has also recently announced another very interesting incentive to build his downline at Kore4 and his splash page promoting the offer is on view now at a traffic exchange near you.

At the end of Season One I can clearly remember saying that Season Two on CTP Teams would be very interesting indeed.

However I wasn’t expecting it to be quite so dramatic as it has been so far…and we are only just into week two.

The latest big news is that Robert Arnold has stepped down as leader of TE Racing League and has also quit the team.

What? Another awesome leader gone already. Is there something in the water?

Carl Belcher has taken over from Robert as team leader and I have no doubt that he will do a great job.

There is no drama or sinister motive to this latest departure and, indeed, Robert has written a full post explaining his decision on his Ragin’ Redneck Rants blog.

In short he thought there was a conflict of interest in owning a program which  has CTP badges (lots and lots of CTP badges actually) and being in CTP Teams. In addition he wants to free up time so he can focus on his business.

He wrote:

“I have badges at TERL. A whole lot of badges. What would prevent me from making those badges exclusive to my TEAM. That could create an advantage. It may not be against rules, but it could be considered unethical. On that same token, I could prevent other teams from gaining rewards when they actually achieve what is being promoted.

“The same could be said for the occasional badge hunt. An individual, or owner, could purchase a badge, hoard it so that no one else will claim it, and then go out and get the rest out there, thus guaranteeing the grand prize. Once again, this may not be against the rules, but could be considered unethical. The same with Giveaway XP.

“So, and this is my personal position…if you are an owner of a business, work for a business, or use the promotions of another business in which there is a competition in which those participating can win prizes, whether it be cash or non-cash prizes, in order to prevent or remove any doubt of inappropriate possibilities, those individuals should not participate in those competitions and/or promotions.”

Just because he has stepped down from his team this does not mean we have heard the last of Mr Arnold…not by a long chalk I suspect.

TE Racing League now gives bonus XP based on user's sKore in CTPWe love it when someone takes an existing feature at CTP and really makes it their own…especially when others can benefit from their creativity.

And this is exactly what Robert Arnold has done over at TE Racing League.

Robert has come up with a really neat twist on the XP giveaway model…he has linked it to the member’s sKore in CTP.

For those unfamiliar with sKore it is a number you can find on your CTP profile page immediately below your picture and there is a blog post explaining sKore at the end of this article.

What Did Robert Do?

Ok so enough background, let’s get into what Robert did here…and he has been quite busy.

He has ten tiered surf badges at TE Racing League (TERL) ranging from a 50 page view badge right up to a 10,000 page view badge.

The first five badges (50, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000) are already the super awesome XP badges where you automatically get an XP bonus for claiming them.

However on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays there will be additional XP available for CTP Team members on ALL the incremental surf badges with the amount awarded based on your sKore:

Badge    Points/XP

50    1 x sKORE
100    2 x sKORE
250    3 x sKORE
500    4 x sKORE
1000    5 x sKORE
2000    6 x sKORE
3000    7 x sKORE
4000    8 x sKORE
5000    9 x sKORE
10000    10 x sKORE

Now Gain Even More XP

And as if that wasn’t cool enough on its own then on Saturdays, those amounts are TRIPLED.

It get’s even better because at the end of the week, the TOP 5 sKORE earnings will be awarded even more bonus XP. (The amounts may change each week, but base amounts are 50K, 40K, 30K, 20K, 10K)

XP Cars

Gain bonus XP at TERacingLeague for collecting car badges

If you are familiar with TE Racing League then you will notice that there are quite a few car badges to collect.

The good news for CTP members is that when they claim the car badges they will get a bonus of 100XP per badge. On Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays the bonus is doubled to 200 XP.

So could there be any more?

Well actually yes…the TERL Badge Bonus.

For each Tiered Incremental Badge claimed, members will receive surf ratio bonus as follows:
50    1%
100     2%
250     3%
500     5%
1000     10%
2000     20%
3000    30%
4000    40%
5000    50%
10000    100%

It looks like Robert has been busy coming up with cool bonuses for his members. There could not be a better example of what TE owners can do to set themselves apart from the competition while looking after their members at the same time.

Awesome stuff indeed.
