Now you can sponsor CTP badges for a real advertising boost

I still laugh when I recall how people used to say that CTP badges would never catch on.

With more than 23 million of them claimed I think it is fairly safe to say that these badges are pretty well established within our community.

In fact there are many people who will not even consider surfing a traffic exchange unless it contains badges.

Claiming them is one thing but now there is something new you can do with CTP badges…you can sponsor them.

You decide which badge(s) you want to sponsor and then everyone who claims them while you are the sponsor will see your message…powerful stuff indeed.

Benefits of Sponsoring a CTP Badge

So why would you want to sponsor a CTP badge? Well because it is a really cool thing to do of course!

Also, and perhaps just slightly more importantly, just think of all the people who would be able to see your sponsor message each time they claim your sponsored badge.

Badge sponsors get to display a special Sponsor Message which is shown every time the badge is claimed!

It will also be displayed on the badge holders pages (which is also great for SEO by the way) and this means you will have a whole lot of eyes looking at your message.

As an additional bonus we will give you 100 CTP XP every time someone claims your badge. Just think what that could do for your team’s performance.

How To Sponsor a CTP badge

Here is how it works:

1. Login to CTP and go to the CTP badge sponsor page.

2. You will see a selection of some of the badges that are available to sponsor right now.

3. Click on the badge you want to sponsor and you will be taken to the payment page. It costs just $5 to sponsor the badge for one month. The badge will be held for you for five minutes to give you time to complete the payment process. If you don’t complete it or change your mind by clicking away from the page then the badge will be released for someone else to claim.Sponsoring a CTP badge

You will also find a link to claim a badge from that badge’s specific page…unless someone has already claimed it first of course.

Additionally when you claim a badge, then as long as someone else has not got there first, you will see a link allowing you to sponsor that badge too.

So this is a badge I found while surfing ThumbVu:

CTP badge on ThumbVu

So obviously I claimed it….

Now you can sponsor CTP badges right from the CTP badge claim page

And because this has not yet got a sponsor there is a link under the badge which would take me to the badge sponsor page.

Let’s take the Lobby Hits 50 page badge as another example.

One of the first CTP badges to be sponsored

When I claimed this I can see that Sunny Suggs has already sponsored this badge. Her picture, message, and the URL she wants to send people to also shows up.

Think of what you could do if you were the sponsor of your own favourite CTP badges.

But don’t spend too much time thinking because someone else may come along and snap up the badge before you.

It all starts…Bill’s Birthday Badge Hunt begins on June 1st and will rocket the teams in exciting competition, major team play and of course, hundreds of dollars in real cash prizes!

This is the first badge hunt of 2015 and here’s a few tips for some of you that may be experiencing their first ever hunt;

– Talk to your team! Be sure to be in contact with your team mates each and every day. Learn which sites have easy to find badges, where they are hidden and work with your teams to collect as many as you can. Remember, each team has it’s own unique game card as well to complete. The more badges your team finds together, the more you can win 🙂

– Surf the traffic exchanges now to get huge clues and hints on who is sponsoring badges for the hunt. Check out Val Mavrodin and Tim Hanson‘s splash / squeeze pages that show you examples of what to look for. Savvy badge sponsors will be in the traffic exchanges all this week giving you hints on how to claim the badges they have sponsored!

– Attend Traffic Exchange Live every day this week! I will be going over tips and tricks on how to get the most from this hunt including WHY you should be even more active in chat this week as we expect thousands of new members to join Click Track Profit. Hint – It’s a good place to be visible!

– Be sure to follow me on Twitter and look for the official badge hunt hash tag #CTPBadgeHunt – I will be giving away random prizes for people using that hash tag this week and of course, all 2 weeks of the hunt.

– Get ready! This may sound like a lot of hype and hoopla but believe me…A CTP Badge Hunt is unlike anything in the traffic exchanges! You are going to love it and it’s important to remember, even though this is a lot of fun and an exciting time…It’s a glorious chance for you to build your business, network with other hunters and step out of your comfort zone each and every day!

We can’t wait for June 1st and are looking forward to this hunt more than any other in the past. Keep reading the CTP Teams blog and let;s roll up our sleeves and get to work. This is going to be a blast!

Russell Stockley from the Cup of Traffic Division is highlighting the plight of the people in Nepal who have been affected by the recent devastating earthquake.

He has been donating a percentage of his sales to the appeal and is now offering 1,000 CTP XP for each dollar donated by CTP members.

More than 5,000 people have lost their lives and half a million more are without homes.

This is certainly a very worthwhile cause.

For further information about how you can take Russell up on his XP offer for donations then click on the image below.

Russell Stockley Nepal appeal XP offer for CTP members

Russell Stockley from the Cup of Traffic League has started a new program called XP Winners.

It is a new program based on XP and it looks very interesting indeed.

With XP Winners you can win XP just for playing a Prize Wheel so it is ideal for members of CTP and, of course, CTP Teams.

The site also has a login spotlight and banners in rotation but it is not a new traffic exchange. In fact there are free spins on the prize wheel up for grabs just for viewing the login spotlight.

Russell said: “If you are a team player at Click Track Profit then you know how important it is to be claiming as much XP as you possibly can so that you can get your team as high as possible in the Division that you are in.

“There is no better way of claiming CTP XP than to just play a game. XPWinners is a prize wheel, all you have to do is spin the wheel to win a prize.

“The wheel has CTP XP, credits (which are used for spinning and Banner impressions), banner impressions and square banner impressions plus cash prizes to be won.”

There is a jackpot on the wheel that increases every time someone spins the wheel without winning the jackpot and also a daily Happy Hour where there are bigger prizes placed on the wheel. (It might be a good idea to follow Russell on Twitter for updates such as when the Happy Hour is active.

Russell has also been offering credit prizes at his Fresh shows and will also do so at Cuppa Time. In addition he is currently offering four free spins to anybody that tweets:

“XP Winners is for Spinners and Grinners #xpwinners #ctpteams http://xpwinners.com”

There are both free and upgrade options available and upgraded members get bigger prizes.

It is always good when people do something new and this certainly looks like a cool new way to earn XP.

The CTP Teams Page has been updated so that you can see your team’s position at a glance.

There is no more checking team points and then switching to new tabs, because right now everything is in one easy-to-find location.

Now you can see the division-based structure of Season Three more clearly than ever.

In the main divisions you are competing with just four other teams and none other, so the performance of teams outside your division has absolutely no impact on your team’s overall performance.

If you are in the final ‘catch all’ division, then you are competing against however many teams are in that division. It is basically all of the other teams in CTP Teams which have not been assigned to one of the main divisions.

CTP Teams page now shows the divisions on the front page for Season Three

It may look like a simple change, but there was a lot of rearranging the furniture behind the scenes to ensure that it both looked awesome and functioned the way it should.

We removed the overall list of teams because many people found this long leaderboard rather confusing, and with the new structure for Season Three, it was no longer relevant.

Pro tip 1: Now you can log into CTP every day, check your team page, and see exactly what you need to do in order to dominate your division.

Pro tip 2: Don’t do it on your own. Come up with a team strategy and ensure that each team member contributes to the team in ways that suit them best and play to everyone’s strengths.

Pro tip 3: This is a six month division, so if each team member contributes something to the team each and every day then you can crush the competition where teams do not have such an organized focus to their team strategy.

Everyone at TimTech and CTP Teams hopes you like the changes and we all hope that you get great benefit from Season Three of CTP Teams.

Have fun, build relationships and build your own online businesses as you take part.

We are now four days into Season Three, so let’s see how the teams look ranked in the order that counts…relative to other members in their respective divisions.

The overall points total for all the teams in the contest, while interesting to look at, do not determine the rankings for Season Three.

The key to this season is to remember that you are only competing with the other teams in your division. How many points teams in other divisions can earn, relative to you, is really not important.

Where The Teams stand:

CTP Teams Season Three Division One - Legacy Hits Division sponsored by Legacy Hits

POS CH LP TEAM PTS
1 -1 (0) SurfAholics – Alpha (25/25) 21,588,849,983
2 -2 (0) Lucky 13 (25/25) 16,972,564,864

5 -5 (0) The Cash Surfing Network (25/25) 2,499,961,263

SurfAholics Alpha has taken a commanding early lead but Lucky 13 is putting up a strong fight in second place. The other three teams will need to work really hard to compete with these highly competitive teams.

Division Two – Pharaohs Army Division sponsored by William Miller

CTP Teams Season Three Division Two - Pharaohs Army Division sponsored by William Miller

POS CH LP TEAM PTS
1 -1 (0) Renegades (25/25) 3,359,155,691

4 -4 (0) Strays Team Bee (24/25) 1,340,281,899
5 -5 (0) In To Win (24/25) 582,310,965

This division is very competitive indeed. While Renegades is comfortably ahead right now, Beginners and Winners is looking good in second and the next two teams are also showing strongly. Only In To Win seem to be struggling a little bit, but with six months to run they have a lot of time to make up lost ground.

Division Three – Ragin’ Redneck Division sponsored by Robert Arnold

CTP Teams Season Three Division Three - Ragin' Redneck Division sponsored by Robert Arnold

5 -5 (0) The Strays (16/20) 42,777,277

This is very similar to the division above – Living Wealthy is comfortably in the lead but very little separates the next three teams, any of which could push for first place without too much trouble. The Strays need to do a little more however.

Division Four – SiteXplosion Division sponsored by Shane Bost

CTP Teams Season Three Division Four - SiteXplosion Division sponsored by Shane Bost

4 -4 (0) Dark Clickers (13/15) 24,560,366
5 -5 (0) The Badge Seekers (7/10) 23,492,971

Things are very different in this division. Look how close all the teams are. Hunters is currently at the top, but any of the teams in this division could easily challenge for first place.

5 -5 (0) Dynamite Surfers (9/20) 12,742,647

Team Wealthy has come out of the blocks at a fair old sprint. Right now it has opened up a huge gap but how the other four teams respond will be key to deciding what happens in this division.

23 -23 (0) MeteoricRise (1/10) 0
24 -24 (0) VETERAN SURF (1/10) 0

This division is very interesting indeed. The spread between Roar at the top and Veteran Surf at the bottom is just 6.7m points. Admittedly a couple of teams in this division have done nothing at all but – with some effort – any team in this division could take the lead. I expect to see huge changes in the leaderboard of this division over the season.

So that is our first look at the state of play division-by-division. Let me know in the comments below if you found this post useful.

Robert Arnold Mega Flag Grab splash page

CTP Teams Ragin’ Redneck Division sponsor by Robert Arnold has just added a whole new level of excitement to Season Three.

To coincide with the new season, Robert has announced that $1,000 in cash is up for grabs at his Mega Flag Grab contest at TE Racing League.

His contest runs for the entire length of Season Three, that is a full six months, and to win you have to collect as many flag tickets as you can, so this is a marathon not a sprint.

Robert said in an email to his TERacing League subscribers: “Because this is taking place during CTP Season 3, the XP on Find the Flags has been boosted. There will be more XP in the weekly XP Pool. Each time a ticket is claimed, more XP will be added to the pool. All you have to do, is go find the flags. That’s it. Claim as many as you can over 6 months, and you could see some CASH CASH CASH!!!!”

This is a great example of  a leading member of the TE community taking action for the benefit of all.

Season Three is a full six months. I wonder how many other new leaders might emerge during that time.

Could one of them be you?

CTP Teams Season Theee Cup of Traffic Division sponsored by Russell Stockley

Cuppa Time Crew Division sponsor Russell Stockley has launched a special web page for all teams which will be in his division.

There is just over a week to go in the pre-season of Season Three where it will be decided to which division the various teams will be assigned.

The Cuppa Time Crew Division will have all of the teams in CTP Teams outside the Top 30 and Russell will produce a special newsletter for all teams in the division too.

He said: “Through the newsletter you will be able to get up to date information on where you need to be and what you need to do to improve your teams chances in the division.”

The web page will allow people to see which teams are in the division and what special bonuses are on offer for the teams that are playing.

Russell wrote: “You will also see a link to recommended programs that will help you earn more CTP XP to get your team higher in the rankings of this division.”

He also gives great tips for CTP Teams players…

“CTP Teams rewards you for being active for everything you do in ClickTrackProfit. Best of all, you are also rewarded for everything your team does as well. Earn points for completing CTP training, earn for spinning the prize wheel. You also earn by logging in every day of the month, Nerd Surfing, claiming badges while surfing across the industry, playing the Vault N’ Keys, the bonus games and so much more…There are so many ways to earn points in CTP teams, all you have to do is be active!”

Also check out his video and sign up for his newsletter by clicking on the image below and the splash page will open for you in a new tab.

We are live with CTP Teams Season Three.

So, in case anyone missed the changes, let’s have a quick recap of what’s happening right now.

The old Premier and Competitive Leagues from Seasons One and Two have gone and right now there is only one ‘super league’ of all the teams in CTP Teams.

For the next two weeks the idea is to score as many team points as possible as this will determine how your team is ranked when the main Season Three begins in two weeks time.

When the season starts there will be six divisions of five teams each. Those teams which have earned the most points during these two weeks will be in the top division; the next five teams in the second division and so on.

There will be a ‘catch-all’ division outside the Top 30 teams so that those teams entering the contest late are still in with a chance of winning a prize.

As requested, we were successfully able to unlink the XP awards from badge Kingships for this season while being able to ensure that nobody’s badge kingship award was taken away. XP awards still remain for team-based badge collection so be sure to keep getting those team flags on badges by claiming them more than other teams.

Also, as part of our ‘level playing field’ pledge to everyone, we reset all of the bonus counters (minus the ones where players had purchased bonus XP) at midnight last night and the counters will be reset once again in two weeks time.

Currently Lucky 13 lead the pack behind SurfAholics Alpha and CSN, Renegades head up the next group of five and Hits WorkForce the third.

Ultimate Surf Warriors are the top of the next group, Indulge Yourself head the penultimate group and Dark Clickers the final group and Roar is the team which leads what will be the ‘catch-all’ division when the main season begins in two weeks time.

Finally all of the divisions are named after the Season Three sponsors and this will kick in when the main season starts.

Don’t forget that if you have any questions, comments or queries, that CTP Teams will be a big topic of conversation on Jon Olson’s TELive today at 4pm Eastern.

Enjoy Season Three and have fun with CTP Teams.

Our most exciting season yet is almost upon us as CTP prepares to unleash the full force of a new season of CTP Teams upon the world.

Bigger than ever, with more prizes, more chances to win and sponsored by some of the biggest names in the industry, this is going to really rock.

With six divisions of five teams, at least $5,000 of cash prizes guaranteed to be won, random prizes and regular updates and announcements here and in TELive, this is the biggest contest yet in CTP Teams.

With our added social media presence on Facebook and Twitter and more competition throughout the entire range of teams, this is the not only a fun game but a really powerful tool to network within the community and form strategic business alliances.

CTP Teams has enormous potential so make sure that you really make it work for you and let’s all have a great Season Three.
