Sweeva Surf Party Double Whammy Win

Are you ready for the Sweeva Surf Party? It starts in just under two hours time at 7pm eastern and I can’t wait to see you there.

But do you want to know something really awesome? Well Jon just announced in TELive that every winning bid shown during the party will get a reward of the amount of credits bid in CTP XP.

So if your page cost 1,234 Sweeva credits you will get at least that many XP, remember there is more for being a K4 member and even more for team surf bonuses.

And here is the really cool thing. If you are promoting a CTP team splash page (remember how Lucky 13 ran away with the prize last week?) then we award XP for the top three teams who get the most pages seen.

So we are now awarding you XP to get your pages seen to enter a contest where we give you XP. Basically we are giving y0u XP in order to give you more XP and if that is not a win, win situation then I don’t know what is.

Stock up on credits, get your pages seen, grab lots of XP on us and have fun.

See you on the inside. 😉

I mean see you at the Sweeva Surf Party.

It was a great Sweeva party, but I do think the Individuals prizes probably should be modified, in all fairness to all participants.

The teams thing and the Legacy/CSN smackdown with the Teams prizes – that was fine, nothing wrong with all that. My Lucky 13 teammates and I put up a good fight, but Legacy/CSN won that fair & square.

On the Individuals prizes, however – and while I’m not sure of what the final totals were – Robert Arnold probably deserved the win if he ended with more points than any of the Legacy Four did individually.

It’d be much more fair across the board to all “individuals” participating if Legacy were counted as individuals, I feel. Non-Lucky 13 folks like Marian Gurowicz, Ken Wolff, Ole Rasmussen, Rip Van Sky and several others were pretty much shut out with no chance of placing in the top three.

My memory of who all had a lot of pages is pretty fuzzy but Marian certainly should have had at least a shot, she had plenty of pages show. With Legacy being counted as one, that generally only leaves a couple more prize places and that leaves a lot of folks who should have a decent shot at prizes out.

And then you have other TE owners like, for instance, Robert Arnold certainly, and Ben Frazier off the top of my head… if they had two or three partners, then certainly they could have taken the SSP as much as Legacy did (and yes, Robert did almost by himself). I’m sure there were other TE owners and program owners as well in the same boat who, had they two or three partners, they could have shut out everyone else as well.

No animosity at all towards Legacy about it for me personally, but it would just be much more fair across the board if EVERYONE were counted as individuals, or else entities like Legacy that have multiple owners only promoted with one individual account (i.e., either Marcus’ or Ken’s or Rodney’s but not all three or two) for the SSP. Unless y’all want to give other program and TE owners that are sole owners a x2 or x3 handicap, I don’t see any other way it could possibly be truly fair to everyone that participates.

  17. Sorry I missed the show. Sounds like it was lots of fun. Hopefully our team can make a better showing next week.

    Nick

  18. hope it was a good show I missed it also.

  19. I felt honored to be a part of the Sweeva party. I liked your comment Lynn. Ken and I are minor league compared to many of you but we do work hard at what we do. There never seem to be enough hours in a day to do it all. I do love all of the friends we have made and appreciate Lynn what you had to say about evening the playing field. another thing that might be done is have one individuals Sweeva party and one team party. I don’t know if that would make sense but I am trying to think outside the box since I do not like being in a box. 🙂
