Nothing Separates Top Two Teams As Season Two Enters Week Seven

Alphas and Ubers level on season points as we enter week seven for season two on CTP Teams

As we enter week seven in Season Two of CTP Teams there is absolutely nothing to separate the top two teams which remain level in every way.

SurfAholics Alpha and Uber Surfers both have three weekly wins and three second places under their belts which leaves them both in joint first place on the Season Points table.

Lucky 13 – which has consistently come in at third place for each of the last six weeks – is, not surprisingly, also in third place on the Seasons Points table.

Uber Surfers has amassed a larger number of bonuses during the season, so right now at least, it does look to be the stronger of the top two teams. That is not to say that an Uber victory is guaranteed as anything could happen in CTP Teams.

This week Lucky 13 has started strongly and at the time of writing (9.30am Eastern) the team is just shy of one billion points. Ubers have passed the half a billion points mark already and the Alphas are closing in on it.

There has been a huge start also this week for Dream Team which is top of the Competitive League and is outperforming many Premier League teams right now to move up to fifth place overall.

It will come as no surprise to anyone that the OutKasts – the team that can never win – didn’t win last week’s contest after all. We came in 16th overall and that is where we remain right now.

No matter where you are in CTP Teams, have a great week ahead everybody. Good luck and remember to have fun.

  1. You got to be kidding me people we all know who is going to win the championship it is the team that has the most money in order to buy loyalty points and that team at the moment is the Ubers. CTP management will determine who will win and that is the way it’s going to be, the more loyalty points you have the better your chances. So CTP stop trying to blow smoke everybody knows the Ubers will win!!!!!

    • Jon Olson says:

Popular to what you may think – We don’t have any control what team does what. Why on God’s green earth would we care if Alpha’s won or if the Uber’s won?

As for the claim that loyalty points etc has a bearing on the end result – Yup. It’s a game and I don’t know if you have ever played ANY games in the online / mobile world but sometimes it costs to play. No secret there.

      And will the Uber’s win?

Depends. They didn’t exist a few months ago and have risen to the top. The exact same opportunity is there for every single team in CTP.

Please don’t play the ‘it’s not fair’ card. Everyone has the same opportunities.

      • Kendra Morgan says:

        THANK YOU, JON!!!

Anyone has a chance to win!

SurfAholics-Alpha, Lucky 13’s and Uber Surfers all have very strong team spirit and a very strong desire to win. That’s what puts them at the top!

Yes, that does mean that we all do everything we can and spend what we have to win. That’s the name of the game.

Altruism (the belief in or practice of DISINTERESTED and selfless concern for the well-being of others) is fine to sooth the conscience, but it’s never the reason people go into business.

      • Thanks for the reply Jon and yes I have played lots of games and depending on how much money you spend it totally depends on what CTP has setup, there was a time when no one could touch the SurfAholics A team but the rules of the game changed didn’t it Jon and Tim and don’t try to intimidate me Jon I was a marine in in USA and not afaird. When I see something wrong I will voice my opinion!!!!

        • Jon Olson says:

Intimidate? What are you talking about.

I’m just saying, there are many other reasons why teams rise and fall. The way the game is set up isn’t one, simply because….The factors are equal for everyone.

Maybe it’s time to not blame the ‘game’ for that.

        • Did they teach you to whine at PARIS ISLAND?? In all the encounters I had in my military service, I’ve never heard a MARINE whine like that. Perhaps you need to go back to PARIS ISLAND and learn how to be a MARINE again.

          • Robert you really don’t know what your talking about I’m for every team out there I don’t mind coming in last as long as I gave it my best shot and the game was fair don’t call me a whiner I’m not at all.

    • I find your comment to be truly funny; as it was just a few weeks ago, actually just before the Uber Surfers first 1st place win, in a side discussion where that very point was raised. But it was not being said about the Uber Surfers it was being said about the SurfAholics Alpha team. Until now at least we had kept to ourselves our suspicions about how the SurfAholics Alpha accumulated so many wins. I guess as long as the SurfAholics Alpha team were unchallenged and was racking up 1st place wins, nothing needed to be said.

      • What were your suspicions? We’d like to find out so we SAA will know, once again, how to get back to “where we belong”. (mwahahah, j/k)

During the end of the past year SAA partied all the time and Lucky 13 (silver cup) had our same team strategy. If Ubers didn’t say anything (in public), none else could then.

    • You sir are a genuine Wally.
Your are talking through your proverbial rear end and I notice it just dosn’t flow from you it gush’s.
Make accusations have the facts to prove it.
Don’t assume it just makes you stand out for what you really are.

  2. Looking forward to seeing how this works out. It will be exciting, I am sure.

  3. Sig says:

    Hmmm…

Looks like Lucky13 is at top, 2nd Alphas, 3rd Ubers (who ofcoz Everybody know will win…. ?)

So Lucky13, Alphas, and all others who have fun in the CTP Teams Games, Stop Surf, stop collect XP…. Coz Ubers will win, everybody “knows” That! :p

Folks, Lets have fun, play the game, fight hard, or just be a good team member that do the best you can…

CTP Teams is a good extra fun idea from Timtech…and its a game… so all stop Collect XP so UBERS (as all knows, so I did hear!) …everybody knows will win..

Sorry just had to get it out…and NO I dont write this agains Any Teams, I like people in all the teams…

    See ya out there πŸ™‚

And Jon is Right, to play games can cost money, to Build a business can cost money, and IT WILL COST Money if your Serious!!

    Respect all

    Sig

  4. Randy Ritter says:

    Hello all,

I think Beyonce should have won! Just sayin πŸ˜‰ lol

  5. I just want everyone know that I think CTP is by far the best thing out on the internet and there programs if worked right will help make you money I love CTP its the most fun I have ever had. I just disagree with the points system I guess I’m always for the little guy that don’t have much money. I would like to make a prediction for the week Ubers 20 billion SurfAholics 17 billion and Lucky 13 15 billion it is just so predictable.

  6. Even though we have “all those bonuses” I want to stress out that we surf and work hard for our positions.

    Ubers to the top!

Good luck other teams πŸ™‚ To fun and frienly fight!

PS Stephen maybe you need to ask some of your team members about the history of your team πŸ˜‰

  7. I see flames burning. Woah, I can’t miss this! (Although my thoughts are going to be trivial).

Teams are “unbalanced”, that’s all. It’s not possible for everyone to spend the same amount of time and money. Top teams simply have more “fanatics” than the other ones. That’s just normal and as fair as life itself.

CTP Teams is almost a year old but it keeps on changing, so strategies must be revised all the time. Teams should just move on and adapt themselves.
Of course some teams are better than others at doing something: SurfAholics have a great workforce (hardcore surfers, eh), Ubers are better at something else (being a TE Owner helps, for example).

    And things happen.

Of course, CTP teams isn’t about winning only: you get to know people, stay motivated, learn stuff and blah blah blah.

Bows and claps to all the teams who believe in this game and won’t quit.
*hugs SAA Stephen and FRIENDLY slaps Ubers coz… BOO*
    Peace, folks! πŸ™‚

I aggree with Sabrina except you forgot to mention that The SAA can fart xp πŸ™‚

  9. I support CTP in all my doings as an advertising plattform and also business, thats a well known fact,,,to make it a game was also fun, and that said – I have played games since…like since 1997 online and here is my point – With all games offline and online – you read the rules and play with them BUT very very seldom ( thank God ) “Game owners” make up new rules that has such an impact on scores (500% have never been seen before) in the middle of a season (how the hell would hockey look like then? lamoff) + some other minor kings ships rewards and Christmas rewards.
And that is the bad in this case..changing rules as we go along “playing”
When one do such – we must also expect reaction, some come forward and say so in public …most talk among them selfs in teams and other media – but PLEASE never attack any member of CTP (calling them stuff )for having their thought’s and opinions and share them in public –
We all try our best – and I feel – whats up next
My main-goal is still business and referrals πŸ˜‰
    Cheers

    • Jon Olson says:

Guess what Ole – That’s what we do and is the DNA of TimTech. We try very hard to not rock the boat with teams and not make any drastic changes but every now and again, we need to do something, fix this, fix that…We screw up, we try to fix things and we keep going.

Never ONCE did I see myself, or anyone in my company attack ANY member of CTP.

If you have an opinion, we welcome it, but you will also get a response from us. We’re weird like that…We live IN the market. We respond to members. We engage with folks each and every day.

But at the end of the day, this game is fair for every single person. Member Bob has just as much opportunity as Member Jill. Team XYZ has just as much a chance to win as Team ABC.

  10. Great to see CTP Team Lucky 13 still in FIRST place this late in the week! I know, it’s only Monday, but I still like it!

    P.S.
I LOVE trck.me! Someone please click on my name so I can see if this new one works! Thanks!

  12. Glenn Witmer says:

I’m an Uber and currently only have 3-4 hours a day to surf after work…but I do my best to complete the DC ans vaults or eggs for my team, I’m usually in the top 1/2 of the team with out spending a dime

Good luck to all the teams

  13. steven schofield says:

I love being an uber it is the best team i have been on. like most of the team i work full time in a offline job we surf what we can in the ubers.Their is a number of reasons why we have come good.We are all good at surfing for eggs vaults etc we love do it as a team. Then we would not be a team as good as we are without your awesome leader he is very good at his job in getting the best out of us as a team. Then there is something we call the factor in your team it is the most powerful inspiring thing we have in the team guess what Stephen it does not cost a penny to have it is totally free,I am inspired by it as the team is. The bonuses have been gathered by people’s hard work, so if u want a the bonuses put in the hard yards in like they did.We have a saying in our team talk is cheap action speaks louder then words. Why is it when people lose they start to complain about everthing under the sun,but when they are winning u never hear from them funny that is.What we do in the ubers does not cost a penny it is free but very powerful thing to have and cherish.

    • Ha Steven then if you believe that I would like to see all your team mates down grade your accounts in CTP and we will see how your team fares. Money is what makes the points and some clicking.

      • Walter Mulder says:

Well to level the playingf feld then all CTP members in teams would have to downgrade. Strange reasoning. So if we really want it fair for all there should be no bonuses at all, exchanging of reward points should be disabled and all TEs that are in the games should only allow two hours of surfing. What a funny game that would be….but at least it would be fair lol

  14. steven schofield says:

You are missing the point Stephen I never said any thing about downgrading accounts in ctp to begin with get your facts right to start with where did i mention anything about downgrading.Somebody like u would never understand the factor because u think checking money at it is the solution to everything.why are u interested in what we are up to what are u hiding then.

  15. Jon says:

I will not deny that I spend money here but not for the reasons stated. I upgraded to Kore4 because it vastly increased my surfing efficiency and was a great business opportunity. I use trck.me because it’s an extremely useful tool when it comes to my marketing campaigns. Not once did I part with a cent in order to gain any advantage in a points scoring contest. The fact that I get a 200% bonus for subscribing to these products is merely consequential and I won’t be unsubscribing because somebody cries foul. It’s time to deal with it.

  16. Victoria Stein says:

There is nothing new under the sun…..what I am interested in is the sheer amount of members participating on the ‘Teams’.

Jeffrey Ballesteros has been a member of CTP a bit longer than me,…and I have witnessed him take on the responsibility as a team leader, now with 19 on his team! Outstanding!

I have read the blog posts of members from other teams and find value, also have been on other teams and enjoy getting to know the other members while being an active participant.

A newer CTP member named Chris Phillips is working with his team on a beginners website, and saw Valetin Mavrodin rise to designer and begin the Hunters team.

David McKay as the leader of Renegades has always shown me the quiet spirit of triumph and determination, this can also be said of Matt Badura, who works off-line as many of us do.

I have known Walter to be very generous prior to the inception of ‘Team’ surf challenges,…Sig as providing humor while showing how to face any adversity,…this is true of so many members here,…John Novak, Mary Magistro, Myra P, Mary Golan, Sylvester Shaw, Senja Louise, Gary McKown, Jackie Hendricks, John Mossinkoff, Adam Brockie, Lynn M, Rip Van Sky….actually, have not ‘all’ of us at various points in our lives?

And Robert Arnold has reminded me not to ‘expect’, rather to ‘do’ what the leaders and long term ‘owners’ in the industry have done and continually do!

Mostly, I need to remember the true meaning of ‘humbleness’,.. 1. Marked by meekness or modesty in behavior, attitude, or spirit; not arrogant or prideful.
