It is hard to believe that yet another month at CTP Teams is about to come to a close. This might explain why the billion points barrier had already been broken by Tuesday and while the movements this week are more volatile than last.
If I had written this blog post a couple of hours earlier I don’t think one single team would have been in the position they were in at the start of the week.
It is only quite recently that SurfAholics Alpha regained the lead from Lucky 13 who had moved into first place earlier in the week and defiantly stayed there until very recently.
These are two teams which always battle it out between each other and at the end of the month there battles become all the more epic.
Right now it would be impossible to say which one will end up ahead of the other but watching the events of the next couple of days unfold will be exciting stuff indeed.
One major point to draw your attention to right now is the Alphas score…2,181,727,494. While there is nothing particularly special about that specific number (unless, of course, it is special in some way and I don’t know). However it does have some special significance in that it is higher than 2,147,483,647, the number at which our counters stopped counting last week.
Whatever Tim did, and he still hasn’t told me, worked and it looks as if there is little danger of even the most active of all CTP Teams reaching the end of the internet scorekeeping again. Lucky 13 will, no doubt, pass this magical barrier which caused so much trouble last week in very short order too.
Elsewhere The Strays have swapped places with Uber Surfers but the gap between them is relatively close and two more places down CTP Renegades have swapped places with Kore4 and a similar margin separates those two teams too.
The most striking thing about the Competitive League this week is how much of a gap Hunters have opened up at the top. This lead is so vast that when both leagues are combined it puts Hunters in fifth place overall this week in terms of points earned. Their place in the Premier League next week is assured already.
