Bigfoot has been roaming around the neighborhood for just over a week and when I last checked up on him, he had given away more than 9,000 badges. That is nearly 1,300 badges a day or around 53 per hour, every hour, non-stop without sleep.
I am sure he does actually sleep so there must be a backup Bigfoot or two also roaming around with a hidden stash of badges.
We have had eight individual winners of one million XP and there will be one more million XP prize for each day of the contest so keep claiming those badges.
There are also multiple random prizes of 100,000 XP and, so far, these have been claimed 539 times which means that another 53.9 million bonus XP has been claimed by lucky Bigfoot badge hunters.
My own badge has been claimed six times – I can’t believe that only six people in the whole of CTP want to do me a splash page in return for my badge.
Maybe people think this is a waste of time…but what do I tend to do with splash pages which catch my eye…well I feature them on this blog.
So those who claim my badge have very good chance of getting their page shown here after the Bigfoot Badge Hunt.
My colleague Janelle has also asked people to create a splash page in order to earn her badge, so it is only fair that I point that out too.
Keep going with the Bigfoot Badge Hunt there is still a lot more collecting to do.
P.S. Just so everything is fair and above board, while checking something on my badge page a few moments ago I claimed my own page…but rules are rules so now I have do do myself a splash page.
And given what happened at the Sweeva Surf Party on Thursday I know exactly what I am am going to do!
