The Sweeva Surf Party was going great until my browser decided it had enough of allowing me access to the internet and walked out on me without a word of warning.
In online parlance “Firefox quit unexpectedly” and I was invited to either try and tempt it back online or to submit a report on its behavior to those who monitor such events.
I choose to get back online as quickly as possible but it meant that keeping score with such a fast-moving event such as a Sweeva Surf Party was almost impossible.
Thankfully Brenda – our official scorekeeper – was on hand and was able to bring me up to speed and get me back on track.
It was another brilliant event with teams and individuals making full use of the variable timers now available on Sweeva.
The general strategy seemed to be to use short timers to begin with to build up a strong lead and then use longer timers towards the end to stop the competition getting a look in.
In the teams contest Cash Surfing Network dominated yet again and comfortably won with 47 page views – just short of their 50 page record from the previous week.
The most intense battle was for second and third places with CTP Masters, Lucky 13, SurfAholics Alpha and CTP Renegades all fighting hard to try and grab one of the two slots available to them.
Another great, great contest but next week I wonder if I will be allowed to stay for the entire event?
