This was another great week for unique splash pages shown during the Sweeva Surf Party – I have already highlighted some in the last post I wrote but here are some more that I really enjoyed.
I Joined KORE4 – You too?
Jon Olson keeps mentioning how creative his team CTP Renegades is and regularly asks me to write abo0ut the team on this blog.
Renegades are currently ninth over all within CTP Teams and seventh place in the Premier League
As long as team member Norbert Ladner produces splash pages like the one above then Jon has no worries about the Renegades getting mentioned on this blog.
This is another knock out page and is my favorite splash page of the week by a mile.
Marketing With Jeremiah
This page works because it breaks all the rules of traffic exchange advertising.
Well not all the rules but it breaks the rule that the message should be instantly clear and that there should not be too much information to take in and not lots of text to confuse viewers.
When we have a couple of seconds (admittedly longer on Sweeva) to view a page then filling that page with text is normally a really bad idea.
I say normally because this method actually works in this case. The layout, design, color combination and font used all combine to want me to take the time to find out what this all about.
This clearly is a page which is the exception to the general rule. It shouldn’t work but it does and it works very well indeed.
CTP Massters with April
This page is very interesting because it gives some insights into the way CTP Masters is structured as well as being visually appealing.
There are roles within the team such as chief statistical officer, special projects officer, event co-ordinator and interestingly Sweeva Surf Party director. This is a team where everyone is pulling together and each member has an important role to play…I like this a lot.
Nerdbird Costume Video
This one just got squeezed in right at the end of the SSP. Look at this and you just can’t help smiling so it is little wonder that Barb is constantly regarded as one of the most likeable and trustworthy people in the industry.
This is a very funny video indeed and very creative. Already there is a follow up video to this one but I think I will leave that for another post.
