Alphas Stop Rivals From Straying Into Top Spot

No two weeks are alike on CTP Teams and these last two weeks have demonstrated that very well indeed.

While SurfAholics Alpha took top spot in the Premiership for both weeks, how they did it was quite different.

Last week there was hard-fought challenge which went down to the bitter end and this week they romped home without too much difficulty.

The Strays, who finished second, were the nearest challengers this week but Lucky 13 were not that far behind and came in third.

The Alphas were helped by the somewhat controversial new badge kingships where team members pick up bonuses for being king of badges and the team is currently on a 180 per cent bonus because of this alone. (There will be a separate post about badge kingships coming soon so watch out for that.)

In this week’s contest The Strays have taken an early lead over the Alphas while Lucky 13 remain in third place.

Bonz Brigade, Surf To Earn, and SurfAholics Bravo (now down to 20 members) all stepped up from the Competitive League while their places were taken by Surf Lovers, Dream Team and CTP Masters.

Another week starts today so have fun and enjoy the contest.

Last week was definitely a weird week from the Lucky 13 standpoint… it certainly wasn’t because of our major loss (and how tired we all were afterwards, though we certainly were tired!) – there were a lot of outside influences and factors at work, but several of us usually super-active members had a rough and/or terrible week last week for various reasons, and I think those of us who were having a rough week were somewhat off our game (though we all still tried to do what we could do last week despite it all).

This week seems to be a bit smoother for most so who knows, but then again one thing we’ve learned from CTP Teams is you really NEVER know for sure how things are going to turn out at the end of any given week. That said – good luck to all the teams this week!

Well I hope you guys get back to top form very soon. I am pretty sure it won’t be too long before you are firing on all cylinders again.

And I never go into a week and even believe its just gonna be sailing!

    Success to all

  13. You’re right there are no two weeks the same. All kind of factors enter in to the scoring each week, so really everyone needs to stay on their toes. There is no resting on your laurels here.
