How unlucky for Lucky 13, they hold on to first place for almost an entire week only to have the top spot snatched away at the final hurdle.
SurfAholics Alpha started slowly gaining ground over the weekend but, for a time, every time they acted then Lucky 13 stepped up a gear.
By Sunday Lucky 13 were working flat out to stay ahead but the Alphas began gaining ground and hour by hour they edged away at the gap. In the end they took the top slot with 776m points compared to 745 million for Lucky 13.
I think it is fair to say that this has been amongst one of the most fiercely fought weekly contests since CTP Teams was launched. Both teams played really well and it was just impossible to say who would finish first.
Also I think that is more than fair to make two general conclusions about these two teams:
- they both love a challenge
- they are both resourceful, with strong team players and love being part of CTP Teams
The Strays could not compete with the top two this week but with 276 million points they were easily assured of third place. Surf Lovers, CTP Masters and Dream Team all moved up to the Premier League while Bonz Brigade, SurfAholics Bravo and Wake Up Now all replaced them.
Whichever team you are in and wherever you are in the league then good luck to you as another CTP Teams week gets underway.
