The Rain, The Hotdog And The Scaphoid Splash Page

Sometimes a splash page gives up its message easily by saying do this, join this list, sign up here, attend this event etc.

But other times the message is just that little bit harder to work out.

Take this page fore example. You may have seen it already in the TEs but what does it all mean?

scaphoid splash page

The rain, the hotdog and the scaphoid…a love story? It links to the Lucky 13 blog but I didn’t see any clues there.

So perhaps some of the other teams might want to guess what it is all about and Lucky 13 may want to share the secret with us?

  1. Wendy Browning says:

    The world may never know.

  2. I guess that splash page dedicated for Lynn 🙂

  3. Lynn M says:

Nope, Lynn had/has nothing to do with that particular page. It does, however, have something to do with (and was made by) another member of the Lucky 13. One of them or our Leader will speak up if they want, I reckon…

  4. Rain bones and squishy hot dogs can only mean that the bones have fallen in love with the hot dog in the rain because the bun melted away and the boney hand now thinks the hot dog is a digit.

That’s pretty weird, but what do you expect

  5. Tom Wacker says:

Well, once upon a time, in the land of Oz, there was a beer truck driver that got a hot dog to snack on at one of his stops. He went to climb back into his truck and slipped off the top step in the rain, falling to the ground. His scaphoid bone in his LEFT wrist bent as far as it could before breaking. The hot dog fluttered to the ground untouched.

The moral of the story? Sometimes you have a guy that has nothing to do on the day that you are really trying to surf your brains out to take the lead in CTP teams. Particularly if he surfs right handed.

And then everybody lived happily ever after. The End.

  6. lmaoff – Strange but cool moralism 🙂

  7. Bob Pizor says:

So, such things might not be easily explainable…

If the person who created the splash page isn’t on drugs, can I recommend that they try some!

(Note: not really. I do not condone or promote the use of drugs and my comment should be regarded as glib and NOT gospel) 🙂

  15. April says:

The Bonz Brigade and the #ovendogs decided to go out for drinks. Everyone had just a little bit too much to drink and before they knew it they were all out on the dance floor and someone yelled out “MAKE IT RAIN!!!” So they all started throwing their money in the air and it caused mass curiosity about how all these folks had such wealth. This opened the door for conversations to begin, and love to bloom.

    …but of course. I’m a dreamer 😉

  16. Glenn Witmer says:

    Yummy hotdogs…it is grilling season

  17. Rob Paris says:

The land of OZ obviously not the same OZ I am from.
Is Dorothy in Toms land of OZ?
    Will they find a wizard?
Beer truck drivers what will the Mad hater say?
People with potential to be madder than him oh no say’s he.
Rain in OZ will not make the rabbit happy.
    Time to go 🙂
